Dividat nominated for the highest endowed Swiss Startup Award

What started out with the idea of a flexible scaffolding made from metal became a global steel group with 150 companies and 10,000 employees. That's the story of William A. de Vigier. Born in Solothurn in 1912, William moved to London in 1935 to kickstart his company. Along side with him: entrepreneurial spirit and extraordinary commitment.

In honour of this remarkable entrepreneur the W.A. de Vigier foundation was established in 1987 to actively support business development and provide financial support to young people with innovative business ideas wishing to build performance and growth oriented businesses in Switzerland.

The W.A. de Vigier Award is the oldest and with CHF 500'000 prize money (5 times CHF 100'000) the highest endowed award for young entrepreneurs in Switzerland. In its 30th anniversary, the Foundation has distributed more than 11 million francs of start-up capital.

Fast Forward. It is February 2019. Dividat was invited with 250 other companies to present their ideas for W.A. de Vigier Award 2019. The board of the members chose the TOP 17 and Dividat is one of them.  What's next? Next round and hopefully the finals!
